The Small Business Association will be re launching its Be SME SMART Campaign!

Launched as a pilot project in 2012/2013, the Be SME SMART Campaign is designed to sensitise consumers about the products offered by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and to encourage their patronage of firms in this sector.

The campaign is designed for the benefit of all small firms to inter alia, increase revenue, save jobs in the small business community, enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs, reduce the use of foreign exchange and improve the quality of goods and services from small enterprises. 

The Be SME SMART programme has a further value-added component to benefit consumers and businesses alike; it is the “Be SME SMART CARD Programme”. This programme will feature a SMART Card, which will be made available to consumers. Upon presenting their SMART Card to participating businesses at every purchase, the consumer will receive discounts and special offers. The more the consumer shops, the more they will save money and the more small businesses will benefit.
