Ms. Taylor outlined the benefits afforded to their members including access to training and development, networking opportunities, website development and a range of product offerings designed to help their businesses grow. She stated that small businesses contributed greatly to the local economy and were vital in its sustainability. “Even though we do not provide loans, we do however, advocate on our members’ behalf on a number of factors pertinent to the sector. Utilize the opportunities we make available. We offer free concurrent workshops and I want you to participate; if you cannot attend, send an employee whom the workshop would benefit or assist.”

The members were afforded the opportunity to promote their products and services to those present and concluded with each new member receiving their SBA certificates. They commended the association’s for its efforts and expressed satisfaction for joining the association.
